My name is Kellie Martin and I grew up in Indianapolis, Indiana. I studied Philosophy and Political Theory at the University of Edinburgh in the UK and graduated with a Master's degree. Upon graduation, I moved to China and have been teaching English Language Arts and Literature to Middle School and High School students. I have also taught ESL & Culture to K-12 students in the United States.
I’m currently the Director of the International English Center, ESL Dept Chair and the English Literature teacher for St. Mary’s Wuhan campus.
This is an introductory college level course that will cultivate students understanding of rhetorical arguments through reading and analyzes and the writing of text as they explore topics as rhetorical situations, claims and evidence, reasoning and organization, and style.
