We want to thank everyone for their valued support in these times of concern. We have received wonderful responses from our community since the news of the Coronavirus broke. It is incredible to see all our students, schools, and hosts coming together to bring comfort to those directly affected as well as their friends and families back home. The overall health and safety of our community remain our top priority. Cambridge Network is working diligently with our partners to address the situation directly and to ensure that any disruption caused by the virus will be kept at a minimum. While the risk for those in the United States remains low, our international students and their families may have been immediately impacted by this crisis. In times of trouble and with news emphasizing isolation, we encourage everyone to exercise compassion and understanding, especially to those that may feel alienated during this situation. We would like to share some of the videos from our international students who have mobilized their student bodies to create video messages, organize assemblies, and fundraise for the victims of this crisis.
Cambridge Network and Paraclete High School student Leo Chen ’23 enlisted the help of his classmates to create this heartwarming video. He wanted to share something that would comfort his friends and family back home in China who have been impacted by the Coronavirus outbreak.
Cambridge Network and The Steward School senior Cici Li ’20, who’s hometown of Wuhan is the epicenter of the outbreak, organized a joint assembly with fellow international students to thank the school for their support and ask for their continued prayers.
Cambridge Network and The Gunston School student Sage (Zeyu) Liu ’20, whose hometown of Wuhan has been affected by the recent outbreak of the Coronavirus, worked together with fellow students to organize a fundraiser for victims of the Coronavirus.
