Exciting news from our partners at Maharishi School! Their Upper School students are now soaring through an innovative new Aviation project-based learning program, led by the fantastic Dr. Kurt Kleinschnitz.
Through this unique program, students are diving into pilot handbooks, practicing with flight simulators, and soon will take control of drones and even real airplanes. The goal is ambitious and inspiring—student pilot licenses, drone certifications, FAA exam readiness, and for some, a potential pathway into commercial piloting.
Just last week, students took their first Discovery Flights at Fairfield Airport, experiencing the excitement of take-offs and landings firsthand. Among those flying were international students Yangi and Ken. Yangi enjoyed it so much that he’s now considering aviation as a future career!
