Kaplan English Language Proficiency Training for Cambridge Network Students

We are proud to announce that we have partnered with professional education specialists at Kaplan to help international students who are struggling in academia due to a lack of English language proficiency. The Kaplan corporation provides a number of services to students throughout the world including English language mastery, professional level training courses, and test preparation classes. Now, Kaplan and Cambridge Network will work closely to provide supplemental training and preparation for international students during their educational journey in the U.S. Any student looking to position themselves to go back to their school or another school with a higher level of English proficiency will benefit from this program.

With 18 locations throughout the United States, Kaplan will provide assistance to international students through a number of support service systems:

  • English Language Courses:
    • Kaplan offers several levels of English Proficiency Training Courses: Intensive English, General English, and Vacation English. The amount of hours studying per week varies depending on class. We work closely with Kaplan to determine which course is appropriate for each of our students.
  • Accredited Program:
    • Kaplan is accredited by ACCET (Accrediting Council for Education and Training).
    • There are six levels to Kaplan. Students can take a test to determine how much they have improved their English proficiency.
    • Kaplan provides a Certificate of Achievement for graduates of the program.

Any international student who is seeking auxiliary support can transfer to Kaplan and partake in any of these courses. Our hope is to condition these young academics into thriving, English proficient, students through Kaplan’s esteemed programs. Kaplan can provide all necessary documentation for an international student, including an I-20.

Kaplan’s transfer process looks like this:

  1. Student sends all documentation and payments for course.
  2. Student’s current school fills out transfer form.
  3. After transfer form is reviewed, I-20 is issued.
  4. Student’s current school releases the record to Kaplan

Cambridge Network provides Academic Support and ESL assistance for international students, but previously had no language intensive training courses. Cambridge Network is now capable of aiding any student who is struggling to maintain a strong academic standing due to a language barrier. We will continue to grow our network and provide the best support services possible for our students and schools.
